97 Graph Control in Access 2k

I'm importing an Access 97 db into Access 2000 and am having trouble with the Microsoft Graph 97 Control. Can anyone who's done this help? Does Access 2000 support this control? Access 97 is installed on my computer but on a different drive than Access 2000.

Re: 97 Graph Control in Access 2k

If the drive is visible and Graph 8 is still installed, it should work. If you only have graph 9 (2000) on your machine, that may be the problem.

Re: 97 Graph Control in Access 2k

Access 2k is calling the OLE Class property of the graph: Microsoft Graph 2000 Chart, but the class property is: MSGraph.Chart.8. Isn't that weird? Anyway, I managed to get the form with the graph to open in form view without causing errors by deleting the Rowsourcetype property value and the rowsource property value. These values may have been causing problems because the rowsourcetype was a query that included a table that was to be created on the fly. Access 97 does not balk at this, but apparently access 2k does.
