Changing Font in Explorer (Home & SP1)

I would like to change the font type in Explorer for the file names listed in Explorer using Folders & Details
I would like to keep track of the file name length in characters so I dont exceed 64 characters for files that will be wrirren to a CD using Joliet.
If I can set the font to a fixed width format, then I can adjust the size of the file name listing length, and easily tell when I go over 64.
The default is not a fixed width format, thus I cannot easily determine file name length.
    Any help would be appreciated

Believe it or not, the font that you see in Windows Explorer is controlled by the "icon" settings in your display properties. Right-click on an empty area of the desktop, click on the Appearance tab, and select "icon" - of course this will also change the font for icons displayed elsewhere, along with the text in Outlook, if you use it - but you may find something that will work that way. <img src=/S/smile.gif border=0 alt=smile width=15 height=15>
