    OE/Hotmail - QuickNames

I know MS still says the OE / Hotmail access is "beta", so I should not expect a YES to this question:

Can the Hotmail QuickNames address list be imported into OE Contacts/Address book?

not AFAIK. Unless you can export as a text file - then import into oe.

does the newest IM show the quick names? (assuming you log on with the hotmail addy? v3.6 i think)

    Re: OE/Hotmail - QuickNames

I only access the hotmail account via the browser or OE. Is there another internet mail access method? I see nothing in the on any of the html web mail pages that offers an export to text file. It's looking more like, print the pages and retype.

    Thanks.

none that i know of, until Outlook2002 is released. It doesn't do the the address book either though.

i can't log on to my hotmail acct from IE5 here to see how it works, but from IE6, i can save as a text page and the addresses are in "name email" format and you can copy and paste into other address books.

Send page by email should work too, and in some email clients the address will be live - so you can click on it, open a new message and click on that to add to the local address book.

    Mary,

That's a good idea. I'll try that. Thanks.
