    Send

Somewhere in the vast array of data that exists I have seen a customise procedure that adds a new location to the right click "Send" menu. I have and F drive (Zip100 Mb) and a G drive (Disgo 8 Mb), and would like to send data to these locations. I can drag and from from Windows Explorer but would like to right click and see these F: and G: locations on the "Send" Short cut menu.

Assuming that Windows ME is the same as Windows98 in this area then you need to put a short cut to the target folder in your WindowsSendTo folder.

    Hi Mike

    This works.....I just did it!

Open Windows Explorer (Windows key + E)
Left Click on My Computer to display contents in right pane
Left click on + beside Local Disk (C: )
Scroll down left pane to Windows
Left click on + beside Windows
Scroll down left pane to Send To

    In Right Pane
Position cursor over Drive ID. that you want to "Send To"
Hold down RIGHT mouse button and drag over Send To in Left Pane and release button
Left Click onCreate Shortcut(s) Here in popup

Done.....Repeat for any other additions to your Send To list.
Simply delete the shortcuts from your Send To folder to remove them from your Send To list.

    Have a Great day!!!

Brilliant, I just did it too <img src=/S/joy.gif border=0 alt=joy width=23 height=23> !!. Had a slight hiccup, I was not displaying all my hiiden folder and files <img src=/S/stupidme.gif border=0 alt=stupidme width=30 height=30>, once I had switched them to show I have now an F: and G: drive in my Send To. Thanks both of you

    Re: Send

Hi Mike. There is another method (as there always is) to make use of the right click menu.
Try going to this page and download the <sendtoX> file. Make sure to follow the instructions.
And yes, it does work in WinME. It also works on my Win2K computer. It enables you to send anything to any folder.
Try it, you will like it.
