    Form Fields in Word (2000)

    We have clients who are having trouble with text fields in a protected word form because when they click on it, it highlights the entire field, rather than displaying a flashing cursor (which is what they are used to). Therefore they are unsure about where to start typing!
    Does anyone know how to get around this or have any solutions?

    It is possible to specify that a macro be run on entry to a form field.
    A macro with just this single line will put the cursor back at the start of the field.

    Selection.MoveLeft Unit:=wdCharacter, Count:=1
