    Win 2K SP3

Ever since I applied Service Pack 3, to my Windows 2000 machine, (and I mean, exactly thereafter, to the minute), I have 2 error messages in my system log. 1) The ASPI32 service failed to start due to the following error: The system cannot find the file specified. and 2) The VNC Server service failed to start due to the following error: The system cannot find the path specified. Now, I've noticed that PCAnywhere does not work. Anybody know what's up?

    Reinstall PCAnywhere. SP3 damaged it.

Also check for latest upgrades and patches.

Thanks, I did this. PCAnywhere is now working again but the error messages remain in the System Log. What are VNC and ASPI32?

    VNC is another remote-control program.

ASPI32 appears to be a SCSI driver or something like that. Do you have any programs that use a SCSI connection? Might be an incompatibilty with SP3.

Thanks, I finally resolved this by disabling the VNC Server Service. It seemed to fix both problems.
