I have a client who has created a rule to forward all incoming e-mail to another person, then delete the e-mail - except if if is from specific people. The list of people is the exceptions list is quite long. In fact, there is only room for this rule in the Rules Wizard. (Additional rules give a size limit error message).
This rule has been working well until recently. The client does not have read receipts turned on in Outlook, but when the person she is forwarding mail to opens one of these e-mails, she gets a read receipt. She does not get read receipts from any other e-mail.
I tried recreating the rule, but it has not solved the problem. I thought I might try splitting the rule into two? Does any one have any other suggestions?
