    missing mscoree.dll

Have been having trouble with machine. Ran Norton One Button Check Up. Ran Norton WinDoctor. Problem found that I am missing mscoree.dll from "CProgram FilesCommon FilesInstall ShieldRun Time0700Intel32DoNetInstaller.exe." Cannot access a necessary file, "mscoree.dll"

When I start up my machine, I am getting the Windows Set Up screen (which I close) and the longer I work on the machine with this problem (surfaced earlier this week) the slower my machine runs. Any suggestions?

    Re: missing mscoree.dll

One "cure" says to "Reinstall the Microsoft.Net SDK" in the Safe mode.

Alternatively, this site has the file for download.

Don't know if that is the correct version for you, but...

    Edited by WyllyWylly to add URL code. See the Quick Guide.[/i] <img src=/S/smile.gif border=0 alt=smile width=15 height=15>

Here's another one you can try:

    Good luck.
