    Logging off Outlook Express (6.00.2800.1106)

    I have the latest version of Outlook Express and have downloaded all the patches. Since doing this last week, I can no longer exit Outlook Express and go back in. It is requiring me to "log in" with password every time I want to use the program.

    I am hitting "exit" not "exit and log off identity". I have been using this program for years and this just occurred. Is this due to the IE 6 Service Pack with the October 2002 security patch? I would rather remain logged in until I choose to exit and log off the identity. Any help would be appreciated.

    Are you saying that you are losing your connection to the internet and you are required to login to your ISP before checking for email again?

    Now running HP Pavilion a6528p, with Win7 64 Bit OS.
