    Mail Merge in Publisher (2000)

I am using MS Publisher 2000. I currently print cards, flyers and forms that are smaller than a full page that results in multiple cards (etc) per page by customizing the set up on the PRINT dialogue box. The problem I am having is when I create a MAIL MERGE to fill in areas in the cards, so that I can print multiple masters without having to change each one before I print. However Publisher will only print multiple records on one or more pages, instead of giving me One page with multiple cards with the information from each record in the merge. Is there a step that I am missing, or is this not possible?

Just want to make sure I understand what you want to do. For example, when you create the Mail Merge, do you want to print, several cards on one page with the same address, and several with a different address on the next page etc?
Also, what data source are you using: Outlook Contacts, Excel?
And by masters, do you mean as in PageMaker masters, or do you mean templates?

Yes I want to print an entire page with the information from one record; each record will generate a single page with multiple cards, or flyers depending on size. I am using an Access 2000 database as the data source. When I say master it is just a printed page that is used in printing multiple pages.

I don't think Publisher can do what you want. I just tried it out using Publisher 2000 with an Access 2000 source and had the same problem. The Microsoft KB has this article showing how to do the opposite of what you are trying: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?...b;en-us;Q322318
Sorry, I know that's not much help.

Thanks for your help. I'll try a different approach - filling the page 8 up and then filling it from a merge, should work just didn't want to have to manually create all of those cards on the sheet.
