    Forms compatibility (Word 97/2000)

I'm trying to import VB created forms into the Word VBE. Word reports that the forms are not compatible. Is there a way to get around this compatibility issue?

    Re: Forms compatibility (Word 97/2000)

If you manually edit the .frm file with a text editor, you can coerce Word to import it.

There are a couple of lines that you need to change, but I don't remember what they are. Export a Form from word and compare the two. to find the lines tha

Word and VB use different Forms Engines, that is why it the Incompatability error is coming up.

Even if you get the lines changed, you will still have issues with the form, so you are better off recreating the form in Word and then just copying the code from the frm file and pasting it into Word.
