No Help Files (Office 2k and 97)
I was working on a home LAN computer (with ME and Office 2k) on Access database located on a different computer (with ME but Office 97). My computer froze while working and I rebooted. Setup file changes were indicated on startup and ever after my Help files are missing from all Office 2k applications. I have attempted a reinstall/repair that seemed to be fine. But after I open help assistant, nothing happens when I click to enter in my help subject. Microsoft has a workaround but it involves changing registry. I was just wondering if there was easier/safer way around this as I miss my help files for Office. byw, Norton Live Update is up to date.

Curious what the workaround is. Can you post it and let us know whether it worked?
