Direct CD vs. Easy CD Creator

I have both of them on my machine (older versions), but haven't used either extensively. I've used both of them to copy files onto another machine, much as I used to use a floppy. However, I can't find any documentation as to what function each of them has. i.e. as a practical matter, what is the difference between them?
    Thanks,

This Roxio FAQ about Direct CD might be a good starting place for "differences."
