    Making columns

We are trying solve a problem with a document that we are creating. The problem is we are trying to create 2 columns on a page after a table. The table takes up about 2/3 of the page and we would like to make 2 columns for the rest of the page and the pages after that. We are using Word 97 SR-2. We have tried putting in section breaks and column breaks, but nothing seems to work. Help!!!

    Re: Making columns

If you insert a Continuous Section Break (Insert/Break) after the table you should be able to format that section with a 2 column format.

    Additional notes:
A Column Break inserts a manual column break within columns to force text to the next column.
A Continuous Section break after the columns will result in balanced columns.
