Access Problem (6.0.2600)

I do online banking and all of the sudden I cannot get past a certain point= on home page I click on Personal Web banking icon and it says that the server cannot be found, but if I go to any other computer it works! ??? Any ideas?? I have checked all my security settings, etc.

Have you emptied your temporary internet and history files?

delap, What OS are you running? Have you re-booted your system since this started occurring? Have you installed any new software or hardware? Has the bank updated their application?

My OS is Win2000. Yes, I have rebooted numerous times as I shut off my system everyday when I leave. I don't believe it is with the bank because I can utilize this from any other computer.

delap, Have you made any changes to your system recently? Do have the most recent MS JVM or Sun JVM (in case the bank application is Java based)?

I assume when you say "all of a sudden" that you were able to access the website with your current setup previously?
Have you changed your User Authentication setting in Tools > Options > Security?
Are you running any form of Firewall?
Have you downloaded any security updates recently?

I did not change anything in the security settings. I have downloaded security updates, but those have been downloaded to the other computer systems in the office also.

Do you have ANY script blockers including the POPUP stopers running? The bank account site needs to run scripts in order for you to get in.

I have a pop up stopper on my hard drive but it is disabled. Other than that I don't believe I have any script blockers.

What operating system?
On a network? If so, P2P or NT/W2K server or ?
Are you using a proxy server?
Are you using a hosts file?

Does the blocked access occur after you have "signed on" to the secure sections of the site?
On the other computer (the one that works), does the next window open in a NEW window for IE, or does it open in the same window you are using?
Are you using ZoneAlarmPro?
