Auto Import from Oracle (Access 2k)

I am trying to set up a routine to automatically import some tables from an Oracle database late at night. I have made the queries to do this using attached tables via an ODBC connection to the Oracle database. I have this set to run as a scheduled task. The scheduled task opens the access database which has an AutoExec Macro that runs the queries. This works fine except the routine ask for the password to the Oracle database every time. Since we want this to run at night when no one is here this is a problem. Does any one know how to make Access supply the password instead of asking the user for it?

    Thanks
    Gary

I presume that you mean that Oracle asks for a username and password for the linked table that you are trying to access.
If this is so, then relink that table and tick the Remember Password checkbox (I'm not sure it's called exactly that). Each time that you try to access that table then Access supplies with the username and password.

    Thanks

That did the trick. Amazing how you overlook those simple things when working through a wizard.
