Automatically Receive Messages on Startup (XP SP-2)

I'd like to set up Outlook 2002 SP-2 to automatically check for new messages each time it starts up. I had Outlook Express set up this way, so I'm sure there must be something I've overlooked, because I can't find the checkbox to enable this in Outlook 2002. Can someone please point me in the right direction?

    Thanks!

    Hi,

Give this a try. Open Outlook, click on Tools > Options. Click on the Mail Setup tab. Tick the option "Send Immediately when connected". I'm assuming that you connect with a dial up account?

You need to go to Tools > Options, Click on the Mail Setup tab, then the click the "Send/Receive" button, and then enter a check mark in the "Schedule an automic Send/Receive every" you need to have some time setting in the next little selection pane.

Now running HP Pavilion a6528p, with Win7 64 Bit OS.
