    Calendar help (97/2k)

    I've searched previous posts but I cannot quite find what I'm looking for. It's bound to be simple but...
    How is the calendar control referenced in VBA. For example, how would I get a specified cell to show the selected date?

    Ta!

    OK the easy way is to use the value of the Calendar control.

    Use something like this:

    Private Sub Calendar1_Click()
    MsgBox Calendar1.Value
    End Sub

    Let me know if you need any further help.

    Thanks for the reference.

    This apears to have been moved/lost, perhaps due to withdrawal of support.
    You don't still happen to have a copy, do you?

    I see what you mean. Unfortunately, I did not download the sample code. The best I can find now is the download for the control, second link on http://www.microsoft.com/officedev/index/calendar.htm. Perhaps all of the code is in the text of the article. Sorry!

    Thanks Steve, I think this was the thing that got me started. This is the MSoft OCX for the form. I was looking for an alternate to the OCX; apparently that comes ONLY with Access, but MSoft had released a free-standing, and free, version.
