I've created a new database query (of a live database) via ms query/excel. I can see the data I need in the query edit window, but when I send the data to Excel, Excel "hangs" after a long wait for the data. This doesn't normally happen, but again it's a new query. Does MS Query have the same limitations on sending to Excel 2000 that access does (16,xxx records)? Server usage and activity in the live database are very low today, so I can't figure it out. Is there a way to select and copy the data I can see in the query results window straight into Excel without having to "send" it there (via the door on the toolbar)?
