    Reply account (6.0)

Can't work this one out!! I can send and receive emails no problem. I have three accounts set up each for a different user. My account is the default. However, whenever I reply to an email or send a read receipt the sender is always one of the other accounts. For example, I send an email as Steve and the recipient replies and comes back to Steve. If I then reply to this it is sent from Rebecca not Steve.

What I want is for any replies made by me to come from me not another account. Can anyone help please.
    Steve

Place your cursor in the from line & left click. You should get a drop down menu with all the accounts, select the account the you want & you ar on your way.

Thanks for that - I can see why it's going wrong. But is there any way I can set my reply address as the default. I have already made my account the default which works for new emails but not for replies!!

    Thanks

Replys logically assign the TO: address as the FROM: address. Sorry, <img src=/S/sad.gif border=0 alt=sad width=15 height=15> but as far as I know the only way to change this is manually as I described above.

Thanks again Bernie - I have found a solution.
I simply renamed my account to ensure it was the first in the list of accounts. Thus emails were collected by mine first and thus I got the correct return address!!

No problem.... Sounds great I will have to add it to my bag of tricks.

BUT, what did this do to the other users set up?

You did NOT state what OS you are using, if XP each user just needs to have a different XP log in and there will be NO problem.

Now running HP Pavilion a6528p, with Win7 64 Bit OS.
