    E-Colour card

This is something that came with a graphics card I bought recently. It's a blue plastic strip about 40 x 100mm.

    Any idea what it is?

It sounds like a colour card to help you adjust the colour of your monitor.

That way what you see "proper" colours on your monitor. Usually there is software that comes with it and walks you through the steps to get it set up properly.

The software that Carb spoke of turns your monitor to a solid blue and you adjust the monitor accordingly. This is supposed to make "things" easier to see. The same software usually has "ghosts" outlines on a black screen and you adjust the monitor to see x number of them.

I don't need special software to turn my monitor screen to a solid blue (with white writing) - I've got Windows 95 here and it does it all by itself <img src=/S/sarcasm.gif border=0 alt=sarcasm width=15 height=15> about twice a day!
