    OUTLOOK 2000 MAIL MESSAGE (2)

I have twice received the following mail message. From Subject Received
Mail System Internal Data DON'T DELETE THIS MESSAGE -- FOLDER INTERNAL DATA. I have used this same copy of Outlook 2000 for a year or more on both my computers and never received this before. Is this normal? And does anyone have any idea why I would have received this all of a sudden?

    Thanks in advance,
    br

If you right-click that message in your Inbox and choose Options..., what do the Internet headers look like? (You should be able to copy and paste them here.)

Re: OUTLOOK 2000 MAIL MESSAGE (2)

A search on Google for "folder internal data" resulted in hundreds of identical examples posted in lists/forums around the world.
I eventually found this explanation at Pennsylvania University and later this post.
Whether it applies to you or not is another matter - we do need to see that header info.

Check out this similar thread on the Outlook Express board. If you are NOT using an IMAP mailbox, it remains a mystery.

Also, it seems to be a popular topic on Google.
