How to enable password for a personal folders (outlook xp/internet e-mail

    Hi,

I have created a personal folder to my Inbox, where my personal messages are stored. I would like give some password or some kind of protection for the folder. For example, if i click the folder it shouldn't be visible and alert me for a password. After entering the password it or the messages should be visible. How can i do like this? Is it possible? if so i would like to know the steps in detail.

    Thanks,

Have you tried right-clicking on the folder, selecting 'properties' then 'advanced' then 'Change Password'.?
This works, at least in 'lookout 98'.

    Gee - It must have been a bug, not a feature <img src=/S/exclamation.gif border=0 alt=exclamation width=15 height=15>. Any XPers out there who can help <img src=/S/question.gif border=0 alt=question width=15 height=15>

btw it wasn't an advanced tab but the right hand button almost at the bottom of the box (folder size being the left hand button).

    Try:
In the Folder View, right_click on the Personal Folders
    Advanced > Change Password

    Edited to add:
    Or even
File > Data File Management >
    Attached Images Attached Images
