Claude ~ I'm running oxp, but i seem to recall that autocorrect works across the entire office in 2000 also <img src=/S/scratch.gif border=0 alt=scratch width=25 height=29> (?). In Excel, what happens if you turn autocorrect on? [Tools | Options | Spelling tab]
I agree, Peter, that AutoCorrect works across Office. However, there is no Tools/Options/Spelling tab in Excel. Nevertheless, AutoCorrect doesn't need to be turned on; it's functional by default.
The missing tab must be one of the differences between 2000 & xp.
