    A scanned document is an image (unless you OCR it and turn it into a document). It is possible to include images in a database as OLE objects but it is better not to. The preferable route is to save the documents in a directory as separate files and include a path to them in a text field in the database.

    Hey David,

    Do you have any suggestions on how I would set something like that up?

    A Lounge Search on the words scan and document in the Access board will turn up several threads on that question.

    Here is a sample database in Access 97 format. Unzip and put the path and filename in the Image Path text box.
    The pertinent code is in the after update event of the image path text box.

    Private Sub ImagePath_AfterUpdate()
    On Error Resume Next
    Me![ImageFrame].Picture = Me![ImagePath]
    End Sub
