Adding a Hyperlink to a Word form

I'm trying to add one or more hyperlinks to a Word form, but everytime I lock the form the hyperlink doesn't work. Is this a Microsoft Word "feature"?
Can somebody help me?
Thanks,
J. Rod

Re: Adding a Hyperlink to a Word form

It is a feature of locked forms that hyperlinks in the protected portion of the form are not active. You can use a macrobutton instead. See MacroButtons (unfinished) for more on macrobuttons.

You can even make it look like a hyperlink by toggling field codes (put your insertion point in the macrobutton using the arrow keys and press Shift-F9) and selecting your link text. Ctrl-S (style) and type "hyperlink" (without
the quote marks). Press Enter. Then press F9 to update your field.

Hope this helps.

Hi Charles:

I'm sure you meant Ctrl+Shift+S (style)..."

Cheers,
