forumla needed for grouped sheets (2000 excel)

I have 2 pages grouped and wanted to add data on one sheet and have the other sheet add the data for the 5 people on the previous sheet. I also want to average the numbers.

Re: forumla needed for grouped sheets (2000 excel)

Both =SUM() and =AVERAGE() work across multiple sheets and multiple ranges from different sheets, aka 3D mode, as in :

    =SUM('Sheet1:Sheet10'!B2,Sheet4'!B10:C20)
    =AVERAGE('Sheet1:Sheet10'!B2,Sheet4'!B10:C20)

and permutations. Easiest way to create these is (OK, I'm inefficient, I type in the formula for some of these) start with =SUM(

then select the 3D cells if they are the same location on each sheet,
then shift-click the required sheet tabs if the sheets are adjacent,
or ctrl-click the required sheet tabs if the sheets are not adjacent,
then type the closing paren and hit enter.

If you want to add to the prior ranges, or use only differing ranges from different sheets, start the same way, and
click the the first sheet you want and select the range,
    type in a comma,
click the next sheet you want and select the range,
repeat until all intended sheets are selected, and
then type the closing paren, hit enter.

If this doesn't make sense, see the help on "Select Sheets in a Workbook" and "Select text, cells, ranges, rows, and columns". If this doesn't help, can you provide some more detail on what you want to do?
