    Outlook Express stationary (6.0)

My sister downloaded a program called HOT BAR. It looks like it a neat program allowing beautiful images for stationary , however, it sends MANY pop-up ads, so she uninstalled it through Add/Remove programs and deleted the image she was using. Now she gets the following message whenever she writes a new message "unable to create this stationary" . She ignores it and then can write the message. Any suggestions? You can view this stuff at hotbar.com/site/abouthotbar/ Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Hotbar is spyware...get Ad-aware from http://www.lavasoft.de - read all about spyware and the program and what it will do for you. It is free.
Also, do a Search via Find/Folders for Hotbar...then when it is found...delete all the entries for it.

Yes, I know that it is Spyware and told my sister. That's why she uninstalled it. I have Ad-Aware. She did a search for Hotbar and deleted all entries, but still have that error message. Thanks for the info.

    Tools > Options > Compose >

Make sure the option to use stationery when composing mail is NOT checked - it sounds like OE is looking for some stationery that no longer exists.
