    Combobox in report (Acces)

    I have a combobox in a form that lookup Physician Name from another table (2 columns: ID# and PhysicianName). In the entry form it shows the physician name and stores the ID # in the table. When I do a report containing Physician Name, the ID# appears instead of the actual name. How do I set the report so that the name appears?

    I assume you now have a text box on the report. One possibility is to replace this with a combo box like the one on the form (2 columns, ID column hidden). Another possibility is to create a query that joins the table behind the report and the lookup table; you can return the Physician Name in this query. Use the query as record source of the report.
