    SYS File wont Close!

    Hello!
I have a problem, it looks like a system command dialog box, but it wont close. These seem to be poping up everywhere on the server, but know one knows what they are. The path on the box is as folllows: C:WINNTSYSTEM32CMD.EXE-2MARDIVPDCNETLOGON8THMARINEREG.BAT..INSERT.BAT

I cant get this to close to save my life! I cannot open any other programs with this open. Please Help!
    Thank you

    Semepr Fi,

    Hi,
Have you checked the NetLogon share of the server to see what exactly the Insert.bat file is doing? That's the normal place for logon scripts but they shouldn't cause the kind of behaviour you describe!

    Yes sir!

It didnt list a single thing. It's just sitting there, according to the computer. I tried telling it that this isnt a soliciting area, but it just wont listen to me!

Can you close it using task manager?
Have you done a search on the relevant server for the 2 batch files in question - the insert.bat and the 8thmarinereg.bat (it's not clear whether the latter is a directory name or a batch file being passed another filename as a parameter) to see if you can find them?
