Disable MRU Commands, toolbars share row (WinXP-Office2000)

We have a Word configuration macro in a company-wide normal.dot. I have tried recording a macro to do this but no code appears in the VBE. I need to code the following:

Go into Tools | Customize | Options

Disable "Standard and formatting toolbars share one row"
Disable "Menus show most recently used commands first"

Any help would be appreciated. I have also posted this in the VB/VBA group.

    Thanks

I struggled with this for Office 2000 about 18 months ago and did not find a way. I'm going to lock this thread and ask for further posts to be made over on the VBA board.
