    Sorting Lookup Combobox Lists (Access 2000 and Win XP Pro)

    In my form, I have to lookup comboboxes that draw date from two column tables each column composed of an autonumber and then some text items. When I wrote the lookup tables I did not type the date in alphabetical order but later I sorted the tables by the second column in ascending order. However, when I created the comboboxes to draw date from them the date is not sorted alphabetically. Is there a way to get around this. Here is the SQL statement of the combobox that I want to be alphabetically sorted by the Category field in the Categories table. Is there anything I can do? Thanks as always.

    SELECT [tblCategories].[CatID], [tblCategories].[Category] FROM tblCategories;

    Thanks Mark. I was able to get this work after some trying and looking at some references. Thanks for the response.
