Random Text Generation (Word 2K SR2)

    Hi All,
Can anybody help me to locate a file in Word that contains the text that appears with the command "=Rand(x,y)"
This command produces sentences and paragraphs depending on the values of x and y. A sort of "Ipsem Lorem" to fill a page. I am bored with the "quick brown fox ..." and would like to replace the text if I can.

The =rand(x,y) feature was discussed in the Lounge earlier, and the thinking was that it was hardcoded into the executable somewhere. You could emulate the result by creating the fluff sentence or paragraph and saving it as autotext, and then either using Word's insert AutoText and Repeat (Ctrl+Y) features, or writing a macro to insert the desired quantity of fluff.

The text appears to be in the file C:Program FilesMicrosoft OfficeOffice1033Ww9intl.dll but I really wouldn't recommend making changes to this <img src=/S/exclamation.gif border=0 alt=exclamation width=15 height=15>

    Thanks Stuart,
Have had a look at it and found the occurence twice, but I think I will take you advice and leave alone looking at all the other data in the file.
    Many thanks
