    Dynamic Graph Name (2000)

Is it possible to link a cell reference in a graph title eg pick-up a reference to an entry in a cell as part of the title? Thanks.

I do not believe directly such as a linked cell, but the following should work with VBA.

    Sheets(1).ChartObjects(1).Chart.ChartTitle.Text = Sheets(1).Range("a1").Value

You can set the contents of a cell as a graph titlr, but I think you cannot concatenate with anything else, except using VBA.
However it should be easy to create a Cell with the title you want and point the chart title at that cell.

See post <post#=86987>post 86987</post#> for a method to use.

    Add a title.
Go to the chart. select the title
    Click in the formula bar
Type equal (=) then you can enter a cell reference or range name or select the sheet and point to the cell.

This also works for X, Y titles as well as legends, text in shapes, etc.
