I am using FrontPage 2000 and when I create a table and try to add a backgroud picture or color to a cell or the whole table, the options are grayed out. This happens to existing web pages and to new pages that are added. I have logged-in in as myself on another machine and do not have the same problem. I have reinstalled FP2000 on my machine and have turned on/off every possible option and cannot figure out why these items are not available. Any thoughts?

Tools > Page Options > Compatability . . .
My guess is that you have enabled compatability with Netscape which (I believe) does not support background pictures in cells / tables.
