    pdf into word doc (2000)

    Hello everyone -

I have pdf files that I want to insert into MS Word. They need to be viewed and printed by Word but not changed. We are not on a network.

I have Acrobat Viewer 5 installed on my PC but there will be others who may open this Word doc and they may not have Acrobat Viewer installed.

Thanks in advance for your always helpful solutions!

    Hi,
In order to achieve what you want, you need to copy the pdf file one page at a time and paste each page as an image into Word. Assuming the pdf file isn't protected, use the following steps:
1 Open your PDF document with Acrobat Reader.
2 Select the content of the current screen image that you want to copy by:
i Selecting the Graphics Select Tool (V) toolbar button. This is on the Select Tool button on the Acrobat toolbar, immediately to the right of the Zoom button.
ii Clicking and dragging the mouse pointer across the area of the page that you want to copy.
3 In Acrobat, select Copy (eg Ctrl-C).
4 In Microsoft Word, Paste the selection (eg Ctrl-V).
If the pdf file is protected, you're out of luck - you'll have to scan it or reproduce it in Word.

    Cheers
