Docs & Settings Folders? (XP Home SP-1)
I recently had to re-install Win XP on my computer. The installation went well and there were no noticeable problems whatsoever. But, when I opened my "Documents and Settings" folder, I noticed that two previous folders were absent; "Administrator" and "Boss/Owner". What I do have is "All Users", "Default Users" and "Jeff".
What were these two folders that I used to have?
Are they necessary? If so, HOW do I create them? (details please) <img src=/S/grin.gif border=0 alt=grin width=15 height=15>

Re: Docs & Settings Folders? (XP Home SP-1)
Looks to me like ADMINISTRATOR was the built-in administrator account. It doesn't create the folder on the hard drive until you LOG IN with "Administrator" as the user name for the first time. As you were setting the re-install up, it looks like you must've logged in as "Jeff" the first time. As a matter of fact, maybe you even changed the name of the built-in to Jeff, but I didn't think XP would allow that. Open up Computer Management, Users and see what you've got listed.
That other entry you used to have (Boss/Owner) had to have been one that you or someone else created.. I don't think it matters now.
