    Warehouse database help wanted (2000)

I've been given the task of coming up with a database system to manage a small warehouse. For the past few years they've been using a messy spreadsheet and it's just not doing the job. Rather than re-invent the wheel, I'm betting that someone out there on the lounge has already developed what I'm looking to do. (It's been at least four years since I've worked with Access and I'm really, really rusty -- quite possibly even seized up.)

I need something that will record the sorts of things you'd think a warehouse needs (items, quantity, locations, customer, etc.) with the option of adding a few features now or later (bar code reader, access reports and queries through the web).

    Thanks!

Do an advanced http://www.google.com search on the exact phrase Microsoft Access and all the words warehouse management and you'll turn up plenty of commercial apps built in Access for this purpose. Skip over any of the data warehouse results because they aren't what you're looking for.
