Option Frame - objects controlled by one property? (2000)

    Hello All,

Is it possible to put multiple objects (textbox, labels, etc.) into a frame object, and then when you set the property of frame.visible = FALSE, all objects within that frame also become invisible? Or, do you still need to specify the .visible = FALSE for each object within the frame? Well, thanks for reading and for your insight!

    Hi Steve,

Only toggle buttons, radio buttons and check boxes, when created in or pasted into a frame, will behave as part of that frame - they will move with it, and become invisible if the frame is made invisible. Other controls are independent of a frame, even when they have been placed inside it.

If you want to make a group of controls visible/invisible at the same time, you can place them on a tab control. If this is the only purpose of the tab control, you can set its BackStyle to Transparant, and Style to None. (Note: after you have set Style to None, you'll have to select the tab control from the controls dropdown list on the formatting toolbar; clicking on it in the form will select one of the tab pages)
