    Table of Contents (Powerpoint XP)

Hi know the (slow) manual way that you can create tables of contents in Powerpoint (as outlined in the help). Is there a nicer way like in Word? I want to be able to hand out my slides as a notes, but with a table of contents at the front. The normal Powerpoint way means you have to update the Custom Show every time you add a new slide. It would be nicer to be just be able to recreate a table of contents based on styles (which don't appear to exist in Powerpoint).

    cheers

If you religiously used the placeholders in the master slide, you could export (Save As) an outline, and then generate a TOC from that outline in Word. Is that any less work?

Have you tried creating a summary slide? The button is on the outlining tool bar
