    Removings Duplicates (Office 2000)

In setting up and testing some of my rules ("if this then move here" type) I often end up with several copies of messages in the destination folder.

I have used the long way of removing duplicates -- exporting and then re-importing stipulating *not* to bring duplicates forward...

But is there an easier way to remover the duplicate messages from a given one (or set) of folders?

Not that I know of. However, this shouldn't be a repeating problem if you select the

    'Stop processing more rules'

option as soon as you've had a rule trigger.

You could use the Find facility, then you can delete the unwanted items from the one pane.
