Error Message: Can't Move Focus to the Control (Word 2000)

Every time I open Word I get this Visual Basic error message: "Can't move focus to the control because it is invisible, not enabled, or of the type that does not accept the focus." The error message appears under the heading: "Run-time error 2147352565-(8002000b)." Searching through the knowledge base with phrases or with the error numbers does not bring up anything. I probably did something wrong while trying to write a macro, but can't figure out what or what to undo. Any suggestions would be very welcome.

    Thanks in advance.

Either an Auto macro or an add-in seems to be miscoded, perhaps in relation to a userform. Try temporarily disabling your add-ins (see Phil's comprehensive message on troubleshooting) and work them back in until you find out which is the culprit.

Thanks for your response. I'm new to Woody's lounge. Can you tell me where I'd find Phil's comprehensive message on trouble-shooting?
