How do I customize the 'Modify Style' dialog box? (Word 2002)

    Hi,

I am developing an application that makes it easy for users to modify their heading styles.

The current 'Modify Style' window (see attached image) contains extra options which aren't required and confuse the user.

Is it possible to somehow customize or recreate this window?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

    Thanks, Chris

Wow, that's really different from the Word 2000 dialog.

How little do you want to show? I think that would determine whether you should rebuild it or try to disable some parts of it (if that is possible). I doubt you can actually hide parts of it if you choose to display it.

    Yes, it is certainly different.

If possible, I would like to customize it as it is, however, on second thoughts I guess I can try to rebuild it. As with a lot of things in Word, there is almost too much funtionality available in it's present format. Typical!
