Paste a Post (View Post Button Problem)
I remember some discussion of problems with the View Post Number button staying disabled, which at the time appeared to be a browser issue. I noticed that if the post number is pasted in, the button stays disabled. You need to edit the number to enable the button. The cause of the problem is actually the event handling for the text box in which the post number is entered:
<pre><INPUT class=buttons onkeypress=return(IsNumeric()); maxLength=6 size=6 name=Number></pre>
Right-click and Paste doesn't fire onkeypress event, so IsNumeric() never gets called and the button stays disabled. How about adding an onchange handler to cover the case of pasted numbers?
By the way - quoted attribute values are much safer for cross-browser HTML. IE's parser is better than most, so other browsers will stumble on the tags without quoted values.
