    Outlook won't receive automatically (XP)

Just reinstalled WinXP Prof and Outlook XP won't automatically receive email any longer. It sends messages automatically but doesn't receive unless I click the Send/Receive button.

My settings are basically the Default settings.

Send immediately when connected is checked
I didn't change any of the Group options
I did check Include this group (all accounts) when Outlook is Online and when Outlook is Offline

    No other communication problems.

Yes, I have it check every 5 minutes while Online and Offline.

Actually, it looks like it may be working now. This is very strange as I didn't change anything! This must be something that is affected by some other setting somewhere other than Outlook! Why would it start working all of a sudden?
