    Excel autosave (2000 SR1)

I don't have Autosave in my excel program. I have checked the help, and followed instructions to add it in and went through the process, but it still isn't listed in my tools. What's up with that? I even ran the repair to no avail.

In a complete installation of Excel - AutoSave should be listed under the available addins.

I believe that AutoSave is an addon that you have to download and install separately. I don't know exactly where you can get it from. However, AutoSave has a few problems and there is a much better alternative available. Jan Karel Pieterse (one of the WMVPs around here) has made his AutoSafe available over on the MS Excel MVP Site.
