    Filtering for text (Excel 97)

I am trying to figure out a way to filter (or do something similar with a macro, function, etc.) rows in a HUGE spreadsheet that contain specific text. For example, we are looking for the abbreviation FOA - this abbreviation may be in a cell by itself but, more than likely, it is contained within a sentence. How do I filter for a phrase/abbreviation that's contained within a sentence??

The Autofilter has a Custom setting which has various options including Contains. See attached picture.

    data -filter - autofilter
Select the filter for the column of interest
    Select custom
    Select contains
    Enter the text of interest
