Remove restore button from form (Access 2000)

Okay I give up...I can remove control box, min/max buttons, change a form to a different style, or remove the border of a form, but I can't get ride of a restore button when the form is in its maximized state. Can someone please help me on this one, because...well it's just been a long day, and my brain power is at an all time low...
    Thanks,

You can't remove the restore and close buttons from maximized forms, but you can remove them from forms that are not maximized.

One way around this ( which has been discussed on this forum before) is to use API calls to make a non-maximized window as large as possible to just fill the screen, so it looks maximized.

You can read how to do it at http://www.mvps.org/access/api/api0022.htm

Did you try defining form as Popup? If you do, and set Control Box, Min Max Buttons, and Close Button all to "No", you will get maximized form with no Restore button or Close button. See attd illustration - may not be too clear, it's 50% of actual size. Whatever you do, make sure the form has a custom "Close Form" button or you may not have any way to close form!
