    Analyze It with Excel

Im exporting some data from a table in Access 2000 to Excel 2000, and my check boxes are being displayed in excel as TRUE or FALSE. Is there a way I can have Excel display it as a checked or unchecked box in the cell instead of the word TRUE or FALSE?

    Re: Analyze It with Excel

You can create a check box on the spreadsheet using the Controls Toolbox (View/Toolbars menu). Then in the checkbox properties, link the check box to the cell where the True or False is stored. You can position the check boxes so that they cover the cells where the True/False is stored if you want. The checkbox will be checked or unchecked based on the cell value.

Try placing an alt-0254 (check mark) or alt-0253 (x-mark) as the true portion of the IF statement and an o (small Oh) as the false portion. Format the cell Wingdings.
