Footnote continued on Page # using field code

I couldn't think of a simple subject line for this, but I know it's possible - I once saw this trick in some computer magazine.

I want to use a field code to indicate that my footnote is continued on the next page (e.g., continued on page 5, where page 5 is the following page). I tried using the Footnote Continuation Notice and then entering Continued on Page {Page + 1}, but it doesn't seem to work.

Is this possible, or am I just imagining that it is.

    Hi David,

What you want should work, you just need to specify that you want a calculation for the page number. I believe what you want is {={Page}+1}.

Note that the field braces are inserted using <Ctrl F9>

    Aha,

That's it. Thanks a lot. At least I was on the right track.
